About

Natalie started massage by accident, in her early twenties she decided to go and do a short course in massage. This is when she fell in love. From this short course which was only a statement of attainment in Swedish massage, she went on to complete her Cert IV and then a Diploma of Remedial Massage (previously known as a Dip. Health Sci.), all at her local TAFE in 2004-2006.

Natalie started this business in 2008, after a short stint of business she then dislocated her knee, and the down time this created meant almost all of her clients going elsewhere. When finally ready to return to work, it was just easier for her to find a job than to rebuild her business. She had worked in hospitality before and had some basic qualifications in the industry and so decided to go there while she sorted out her career.

She was soon employed at Lilianfels Day Spa, and stayed there for just over a year, where she completed her Hot Stone Massage certificate, before moving to Spa Sublime, also in Katoomba, where she stayed for 2 years. It was during this time that Natalie completed her Diploma of Beauty Therapy in 2012, and started her degree. After quitting Spa Sublime when she fell pregnant with her first child, she went back to Lilianfels in 2014, now re-branded as the Escarpment Group, meaning she would do treatments at all of their 4 locations, where again she left only when falling pregnant with her youngest child.

After taking a prolonged maternity leave during which Natalie continued to study, completing her Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) 2014, and her Cert IV Training and Assessment in 2018, and seeing only a select few clients, she returned to work full time in 2020, only to witness the world come to a stand still. During COVID-19 lockdowns, Natalie was enjoying homeschooling so much she decided it was time for another course of her own. While looking for something short and sweet, she realised everything she wanted to do needed physiotherapy as a prerequisite, so just for a laughs, she applied. Natalie started her B. Physiotherapy in 2022, and hopes to complete it during 2028.

Natalie specialises in chronic conditions as she enjoys seeing people for long periods of time and watching as she slowly works with clients to improves their quality of life. She uses an eclectic approach, combining many of the modalities she has learned along the way including; Swedish massage, Remedial Massage, Sports massage, Hot Stone massage, Pregnancy massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Hot Aroma Poultice massage, Aromatherapy and many spa treatments.
